Green zone extended at Zvezdara

JKP ‘Parking Servis’ shall from Monday, 26th of April, extend the third (green) zone with a 3-hour time limit on a part of Zvezdara municipality which is bounded by the streets King Alexander Boulevard, Roosevelt Street, Dimitrija Tucovica and Batutova Street.

Payment of parking and parking control will be carried out every weekday from 07.00 and 21.00 hours and from 07.00 and 14.00 on Saturday.

The residents of the area, disabled drivers as well as businesses with a head office in this zone are entitled to a privileged parking ticket.

An owner of a privileged parking ticket can park his vehicle without a time limit (for an indefinite period) on a first available parking place but only for a time frame for which the ticket has been issued.

Privileged parking tickets can be purchased at Parking Control Service in Starine Novaka Street no. 22, from 07.00 to 14.00 on weekdays and from 07.00 to 14.00 on Saturday. When purchasing the ticket it is necessary to present an identity car and a traffic license which should contain the same address. Disabled persons are given tickets free of charge provided they present a traffic license, an identity card and Department for social, children and war veterans care certificate.

The price of a monthly privileged parking ticket is 457 din. while for the disabled drivers it is free of charge. The businesses must pay 3 285 din. per month for a privileged ticket.

The initiative for introducing a zone was supported by Zvezdara municipality, which conducted a survey in which the citizens were in favour of the project so as to find a parking place easier than before.
